The Borough Welsh Congregational Chapel is an active, working Church

However at our discretion only and strictly subject to limited availability we may hire our School Room (small hall) for rehearsals and auditions, community and social meetings and events, mother and toddler groups, keep fit and dancing, classes and lectures only.

Please note that The Borough Welsh Congregational Chapel is a congregational church and in accordance with our Trust Deed we do not hire our Chapel or hall to any other religious denominations or groups.

Room size is 36 ft x 34 ft

Removable seating and tables allow for a variety of configurations

Availability

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Saturdays may be available, upon request

Sundays are not available

Kitchen / facilities

Hirers can make tea and coffee in the attached kitchen, but are responsible for washing and drying up

There are no storage facilities in the School Room or chapel kitchen – please remove items after use

Hire rates and availability

£50 per hour (with a minimum of £200 per hiring)

Please note that rates are non-negotiable - we are a small charity run by volunteers and are not able to discount rates

Important information

A separate damage deposit may be required for certain events or first-time hirers

All hirers are deemed to have read and understood the above, and the Terms of Hire
